Free Internet Resources

There are a number of freely available resources on the internet. There are reference sources like dictionaries and encyclopedias. There are also journals called Open Access Journals which are reputable even scholarly publications freely available to the public as well as free online magazines and newsletters. Institutional repositories also provide access to free material. IR's are digital collections of "the intellectual output" of an institution. They too can be useful sources of information and images.
