Hello Guelph Artists

This site is for you. It was created in response to question from a fourth year student artist in a "how to use the library class"at the university. After being shown all the information resources available to them, she said, "That's all great but what are we going to do after we graduate?"

That was a good question. To find out how artists find information or inspiration after they have left school I created a survey of your information seeking behaviour. Many thanks to those who took the time to answer it.Please follow the survey link above for details and results.

This survey suggested that there was a need for more and better information in the arts community and that many local artists were not taking full advantage of the resources available to them, including those at the University of Guelph Library. ArtsInform attempts to provide a guide to the resources and services for local artists.

This site needs images of work by Guelph Artists to enhance it. If you are interested in providing a couple please contact me. You can view the gallery to see what is already there. Also look at the main pages of the site for how images would be used. Thanks
